Almost every acoustic guitar has it - the builder's label inside the body. There you have the opportunity to get creative with your logo, serial number and so on. I like to compare it\nwith a label on a wine bottle - really little space to give the customer\na brief outline of the whole philosophy of one's own work. Not an easy task. There\nare many different formats and designs circulating in the guitar making scene and somehow it is\nalso a bit of a trademark of a guitar maker. For me it was clear from the beginning that I\nI didn't want to make it easy for myself when it comes to the paperwork of my guitars and I was\nready to walk the extra mile that it takes to create something special. So\nafter a long search, I met Matthias Schwethelm from the Papieroffizin, who makes a paper from old cotton rags to make a beautiful handmade paper. It is a\nfascinating craft and I plan to visit Matthias in the future to make a couple of\nsheets of the paper myself. <\/p>\n

A special honor for me is the collaboration with the Gutenberg Museum in Mainz.\nIn the printing workshop of the museum, the prints of my guitar labels, certificates and hang-tags are made on antique machines.\nAll on Matthias' handmade paper. <\/p>\n

So in the end every Pertsch guitar bears not only my own handwriting but also that of other\nguilds. That makes me very proud. Thanks again for the support!<\/p>\n\t\t\n
